| Transcript | SPECIAL EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING OF THE WESTERN MISSOURI AND KANSAS LABORERS' DISTRICT COUNCIL - NOVEMBER 30, 1966 - 101 E. ARMOUR, KANSAS CITY, Mo. Meeting was called to order at 2:30 P.M. by President Rider. All the Executive Board members were present. After a discussion as to the hiring of an assistant Business Representative to represent the Western Missouri and Kansas Laborers' District Council in Kansas and Western Missouri and the renting of two cars for the Council use, a Motion was made and seconded, that the Executive Board recommend to the Council delegates that we hire Ted Berberich as an assistant Business Representative of the Council, starting December 5th, `966 and that we pay him $135.00 per week plus expenses and rent him a car to drive. Motion carried. Then a motion was made and seconded, that we rent two cars for the councils use, one 1967 Chrysler, New Yorker for the Business Managers use and one 1967 Plymouth for the Assistant Business Representatives use and that we rent them from John Molle Rental Service at 2500 Broadway, Kansas City, Mo. at a cost per month of $135.00 for the Plymouth and $156.50 for the New Yorker, with a two year lease and no extra cost for mileage over 30,000 per year.
