STEVEN FRANK AGRON (the former Miss Deborah Joy Raskin) {& lft The sanctuary of Temple B'nai Jehudah was transformed into an arbor for the wedding last Sunday, August 5, of Miss Deborah Joy Raskin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Raskin, and Mr. Steven Frank Agron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Agron. Rabbi William B. Silverman and Rabbi Norman T. Mendel, assisted by Cantor Robert M. Miller, officiated at the double-ring ceremony beneath a white, wrought-iron gazebo. Greenery and bows of royal blue and emerald green ribbon were entwined in the scrollwork, as well as on the white, wrought-iron lattice fences on either side. Poles, plaited in blue and green ribbon, and topped with large bows, marked the aisle. The bride wore a gown of white georgette fashioned with a portrait neckline, outlined with a soft inching which was repeated at the wrists of the long, fitted sleeves. A cummerbund, embroidered in silver and pink rosebuds, was the only color accent on the long full skirt of the gown. White rosebuds and lilies of the valley comprised the bride's bouquet, and matching flowers banded her garden hat of white horsehair. Serving as maid of honor was Miss Cathy Tivol. The bridesmaids included Mrs. David Polinsky of Paterson, N.J., and Miss Beverly Agron. Miss Gay Lipman of St. id of] Louis was the junior bridesmaid They wore floor-length gowns of powder blue corded cotton, and carried French garden baskets vari-hued summer flowers. Mr. Ronald Davidow was the best man, and the groomsmen were Mr. Frank Agron, Mr. Martin Raskin and Mr. Ben Raskin. A floor-length gown of mint green chiffon was chosen by the bride's mother, and the mother of the groom wore a gown of powder blue chiffon. Both wore wristlet corsages of white cymbidium orchids. Following the wedding ceremony, a champagne luncheon was held in the Regency Room of the Plaza Inn. After a honeymoon trip to San Francisco and Carmel, the couple will make their home in Shawnee Mission.
